Does anyone know whether we can post pictures on this forum?
Christine
it doesn' appear so.....You need to allow 'pop ups'..but when i did that it only allowed me to browse the 'online' gallery'. Maybe the Web administrator can help us
Buggar!
Well I sent an email to the Web Administrator, so we'll see what he's able to do!
Mr Web Administrator,
I was so excited to see that we could "insert image", but when I tried to insert my image, it does not appear to attach to this message! HELP!
Cheers,
Cool..So you can insert images. I can I do it?
It's a bit complicated to post pictures at the moment and I plan to discuss this with the Web Administrator tomorrow at the committee meeting. At the moment, what I'm doing is:
1. Insert Image
2. Browse files
3. Add file
4. Upload file
The problem lies here. Once you upload the file, I think what is supposed to happen is that u click on the file and it should insert directly into your "Reply box", but for some reason it's not.....?error with platform???Out of my area of expertise, so I'll discuss tomorrow. For now what I'm doing is right click ont he photo, "copy" then paste directly on my "reply box". The only thing is that the picture is small and unable to maximise to original size.
Hope this helps.

Could someone help ID this Nudi, it was taken at Botany Bay.
Hey Reg,
Ur pic is too small....Can you make it bigger, or has the application to add pictures still not up and running properly?
Hi Christine,
Having played around with this a bit, I think the easiest way is to use the "Image Icon" (instead of the "Insert Image" button)in the Rich Text Editor, which gives you an easier to use option to add images. It also allows you to add images, since they need to be uploaded to the site.
Can you give this a go and let me know how you went? If all good, I'll remove the "Insert Image" button as it seems to be a bit problematic.
Hans
Looks like your words of wisdom worked Hans.
Have a great Christmas!!

Ok, now the 'insert image' option has gone..how do we upload??
By using the image button on the Rich Text Editor. If you select the "Browse Server" option, a new screen will open and you have the option to upload a file to the server.
Please make sure you upload your content in a subdirectory (eg. Photos\Reg) or something, so it has some structure to it on the server :-)
Cheers!
Hey Reg, is this the nudibranch that you were trying to identify? Serpent pteraeolidia (Pteraeolidia ianthina). Also known as the Blue Dragon.
